Waves License Center offers users authorization activation straight to their computer or any USB flash drive easy license management license mobility via USB flash drive or users’ License Cloud and one-click license recovery in the case of lost or damaged devices. V9 also marks the introduction of Waves’ new easy-to-use authorization system, Waves License Center, which eliminates use of the iLok.

In addition, V9 offers faster scanning, faster loading and faster processing times. Now Waves users can unleash the power of massive amounts of RAM memory in the DAW hosts of their choice. One of Version 9’s most highly anticipated features is 64-bit operating system support.

WINTER NAMM SHOW, ANAHEIM, CA, JanuWaves Audio (Booth 6242/Hall A), the industry-leading developer of professional audio digital signal processing technologies and the recipient of a Technical GRAMMY® Award, unveils V9, the new version of Waves plugins. Waves offers 64-bit host support and new easy-to-use authorization system. It's just a response to logical analysis of what posts like yours actually mean in reality.Waves Audio Unveils V9 (Version 9) Plugins It's not a personal response, because I don't know you personally. I hope it makes more sense when I spell it out that way and connect all the dots that I ordinarily just do mentally. I'm perfectly willing to believe you don't see the connection that clearly, but you might consider your willingness to believe that UA does see it that way, and that as the people whose livelihoods are directly at stake in the matter, they aren't accountable to us for their analysis. If that offends you, then use that energy as motivation to stop throwing the subject around every time the discussion is tangential to dsp/native (and this one is only so by virtue of showing what a disaster native is in regard to cracks, thus reinforcing what I said about your post). We'll know from your own posts, as I see it.
#WAVES V9 CRACKED#
If you secretly want them cracked (or don't give a damn, as long as your own needs are met), then you'll keep bringing the subject up. If (as you say) you don't want UAD to be cracked, then you would stop asking for a non-dsp/native version. I'm trying to get you to see the connection as clearly as that. Ispo facto, if you want UA to abandon the dsp requirement, you want them to be cracked - nothing personal just how things work. But let's be clear, UAD hardware is all that stands between UAD and being cracked. The fact that they at least try to make it useful as dsp is nice enough, even if I can understand that it's not all that appreciated by some. We are "tied to their dsp" because it works as a piracy deterrent better than anything else out there. I just noticed you keep asking the question, and it just made sense to ask them directly. Thats what makes good journalism too. That wasn't titchee. If you want your answer you will have to dig harder my friend. But they stay away from the politics, and that's smart of them. If you have a technical question, they will chime in from time to time. I have never seen UA get involved in the native tug of wars on this forum.

I doubt you will get the answer you want, but they WILL talk to you.īut don't expect them to come into a third party forum (that is not thiers) and answer you directly about this. I have talked to them numerous times at conventions. Or better yet, go to a convention (NAMM, Musikmesse, etc.) and talk to them.
#WAVES V9 FREE#
If you want to know so bad why UA uses DSP, why don't you call them direct? They have a toll free number. Waves APA was an epic fail and they gave up. UA is successful and thriving with their DSP. Different business models, different platforms. I wonder if we will finally get an official response from UA as to why we are tied to its DSP now that Waves is 100% NTV.UA probably could care less that Waves is 100% native.
